My sketchbook is a place where I just like to create and not think to much. I work hard to not work hard, and just enjoy te process. Being in that art work flow, helps me also to just play in life. Not overthink, but just do, experiment and fail. It’s a daily battle to be kind to myself and be patient. It’s a daily task to tell myself that thinks don’t have to be perfect. Making art is a physical act whit physical results. I lot of things in life that we create are not that physical. Like making a friendship, a place to call home or getting better at getting thinks done. The process of art lets me be aware of the process of how I create, that helps me. For me making art is such a fundamental part of living. I love it. Just to play and feel free. I think this sketchbook page shows the fun I had while I was painting it. Sometimes I even giggle a bit when I sketch something. Can you relate?
