Crocodile Tea Party. I really enjoyed making this piece because it let me play with different textures, colours and levels of detail. Some parts are more worked out, while other areas stay softer and more vague. I think that contrast is what gives the piece its balance. I also keep trying to leave more white space, and to let some shapes exist only as lines instead of colouring everything in. It feels simple, but it changes the whole rhythm of the work. I learned a lot from this crocodile tea party. And I think this is a direction I want to keep exploring.
